Charley (Lesley) Lubin
Lesley Lubin, born May 4th, 1983, is a Saint Lucian visual artist with over twenty years of experience and devotion to fine art. Her penchant for a vibrant color-infused palette of acrylics, oil paints, or mixed mediums breathes life into tropical, natural themes that also capture textures in a sensory display of ethnic and endemic beauty. The Micoud resident employs and incorporates a variety of painting styles and mediums, a unique fusion of brush strokes and blending, impressionism, and realism, which testify to her passion for the visual arts. Lesley’s portfolio is an homage to her undeniable love of nature, animals, and the refined distinctive features of human subjects. The self-taught artist is known for also capturing moods, and the picturesque beauty of her island home, through landscapes, seascapes, portraiture, or even the supposedly ordinary or mundane which she interprets and portrays stunningly.
