Johanna S. David-Tramantano, PhD has served as the Director of Literacy/ELA and Reading for Grades K-12 for Yonkers Public Schools and has held key positions as a teacher, literacy coach, and assistant principal in New York City. With nearly twenty-four years of educational experience, Johanna is currently the Director of Educational Innovations and Curriculum Design at Monroe University. Dr. David-Tramantano’s dissertation research focused on the role of writing in science and math curricula available through Open Educational Resources (OER) and online discussion forums. She is deeply committed to using educational technology to create equitable and differentiated learning experiences for all students.
