Kentillia louis, Cultural Strategist and Artistic Director &
Artistic Director of YouthSPAC

Kentillia Louis is an accomplished cultural and creative professional with a specialization in creative and cultural research, training, artistic direction, and mentorship for emerging artists. She is also a prolific writer and storyteller. Ms. Louis holds a BA in English Literature and Theatre from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, an MA in Heritage and Identity from the University of Birmingham, and a PGCE in Education and Social Research from the University of London.

As the founder and Artistic Director of YouthSPAC (Youth Specialising in Performance and Culture), Ms. Louis has been instrumental in nurturing young talent and advancing cultural education. She also serves as a board member for the Lighthouse Theatre Company, Warehouse 11, and the Alliance Française de Sainte Lucie. Previously, she served on the boards of the Folk Research Centre, where she chaired the Education and Programmes Committee, and the Cultural Development Foundation.

Ms. Louis's extensive teaching experience includes lecturing at the University of the West Indies (St. Augustine and Open Campus Saint Lucia) and the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College. She has also served as an external examiner for the Edna Manley School of the Performing Arts, London South Bank University, and the CXC Theatre Arts CSEC examination. Additionally, she was a mentor in the Youth Economy Agency’s Mentorship Programme.

Currently, Ms. Louis works as a Training and Development Consultant for the Cultural Development Foundation and represents Saint Lucia on the Caribbean Béle Network.
